LBP - January Blog

As many of you know Eva is now 7 months old and has started her weaning journey. I am amazed at how quickly she has grown and developed. Her mind is constantly moving and you can see her little eyes light up at the sight of different things. Her favourite move of the month it seems is to drop things and then peer over the edge to see where it has landed.
Having 4 children, I can honestly tell you that no two children are the same. Each of my children are individuals and have their own ideas on what they want to do and achieve. Eva included!

We have heard that some of you have older children (age 9+) who are due to embark on their 1st school trip away from home.  Having experienced this with my older son 2 years ago, I know how you are feeling. I thought of every way to persuade his teacher to call me daily with updates on his progress and worried that he wouldn’t remember to change his underwear and generally be completely lost without me.
The reality was, he survived, did not pine after me and had the most fantastic time. Even perhaps appreciated us a little bit more when he returned 5 days later.
As a parent, it is a natural instinct to want to wrap our children up in cotton wool and keep them safe from harm. At times, we have to be brave and give them the chance to grow. Afterall, isn’t it life experiences like these trips that help shape them?

We have some fantastic features and competitions this month. Including a special BabyBjorn exclusive! Have you seen their new innovate Booster Chair?

Our Lovedbyparents Awards are now open for the second year and have opened with a flying start. We have introduced new awards this year which we are very excited about.

The Lovedbyparents Award logos are the ultimate seal of approval as each product is tested by a panel of real parents.
If you have a product, business or would like to enter one of our Special Awards, please visit us at
